Where do yoou get carbon front splitters?
I have already bought one just not picked it up yet?
Whats the do & donts
There are a couple of common issues lol
Heater matrix pipes bursting- roose make stronger ones
Crankcase breather pipe splitting/colapsing- again roose make upgrade
Thermostat housings crack - RSOC member makes aluminium ones
Oil cooler water pipe elbow corrode - nortech performance make upgrade
Chargecooler water pumps stop working - RSOC member recons them
Turbo oil return pipes corrode too - JEK performance make upgrade
Thats about it off the top of my head, dont be put off just things to check and replace in time.
DON'T fit an atmospheric dump valve - won't run right.
DO join the RSOC because the info/help/savings on parts is fantastic!
For a carbon splitter, you can only get them from one person but you need to be an RSOC member
AWESOME car, i love mine i'm sure you'll love yours too when ya get it.
Once your a RSOC member and use the forum you'll find out exactly what to do and where to get it from, 300bhp is easy

fitted forge actuator and all was well again......

the pro alloy one you can get for Ł950 now but it fits like a dog and you have to replace all the hoses. airtec do one for Ł650 that fits better and even a few people on the rsoc have made there own kit up, and they are cheaper

Cool thanks guys im usually into cosworths these are new to me! gaz when you say direct do you mean use a boost controller or bleed valve? instead of the original boost solenoid? what boost do they run with bluefin or remap!? i will get a decat & exhaust but will wait n find a 2nd hand one.
If you have a map (Bluefin or whatever) you dont need a bleed valve or boost controller.
Leave the original solenoid connected electrically just remove the hoses.
Fit a forge actuator with the correct spring.
Connect the hose from the actuator to the turbine housing. Use a boost gauge to set what boost you want. (22psi should be fine)
Try going over the RSOC and all you questions will be answered

Not a fan of the rsoc web site get lost on it there is that much on it! i will need to get the hang of it. I get what you mean about the actuator now. How much power are the standard charge coolers good for? if they are ok at 20 psi i wot be changing it.
as for the splitter get on the rsoc introduce yourself and send a pm to shins for the best price anywhere

the charge cooler pumps can stop working mate
which can meen melting engine if temps get too hot .......my mate just fitted a airtec cooler kit on his frs ,said it was a git to fit but has increased the power of car just by fitting cooler
and looks awsome behind grill
my frs kept hitting boost cut because ecu was shutting it down as overboost.....we disconected the boost solonoid and ran the boost direct through forge actuator and it was fine....i think you will be very happily surprised how well these cars go,handle......
good luck with it anyway cheers jeff,oh and rsoc website there is lots of helpfull info ,bits for sale group buys etc..well worth a visit
