Default Leeds Meet - Sunday 27th Sept 2009

LET ME KNOW IF YOUR COMING ALONG!!!! THOSE WITH CLASSIC or RETRO MOTORS or even Nice preformance Fords bring them with you!

Im holding a ford meet on Sunday 27th Sept just North of Leeds at The Emmott Arms pub, Rawdon, LS19 6PP. Nr Leeds/Bradford Airport.

I have spaces for about 25 cars and was hoping to get some ford retro motors attending.
I myself own an XR3i cab Mk4 SP and will be showing of my motor.

Anyone free that day and in the Yorkshire region fancy it?

Pub doors open at 12noon so I would say 12 would be a good time and stay the afternoon. I'll put an advert up in the pub advertising it so should draw in a few spectators. I would like to see some Mk1 2 3 ect and does anyone know anyone with capri's or Cortina's that could come along too? As a new member this is a great opertunity to introduce myself and meet some of you guys and girls and your motors.
Lets start a list:

1. Yorkshireman
2. Cragrat
3. PaulsMK2 + 1

Default Still on meet 27th Sept Leeds

Ok, so lets still make this meet the 27th sept!
Like I said before... I have allocated 25 parking spaces at the pub for this meet so put your names down if your coming along.

If it goes over 25 Im sure you will be able to park but it might be away in another part of the carpark or down the street.

GET YOUR NAMES DOWN.
PS: Pub grub is available if required

I'll be the Marshall that day and guiding you in to your reserved spaces. Anyone with really low suspension will need to come in up slowly. I held an FTO meet here last year ( I own and FTO too) and the lowest booties got in and out ok without any scrapes. So u should be ok if you come in slowly.

Would be good if anyone coming along for this meet could arrive at about 11.30 am so we can get all the cars in first before customers start arriving in their motors.

If any of you are wanting a drink in the pub then you wont need to bring a lot of dosh... Pint of lager Ł1.69 / Bitter Ł1.42 / Mild bitter Ł1.25 / Soveriegn Ł1.49. Bring someone with you that doesnt drink and can drive you home!!! LOL

Glad ur coming along. Just shocked that those that are coming are not coming in classic or retro motors! Everyone seems to be coming in there work horses and not thier classics! Not this club forum but other clubs. Oh well , see what turns up on the day. Good thing is weather is looking good for tomorrow.

if any of u are in very low motors then u maybe best avoiding the entrance nearest to the mini roundbout and going up the side street ,billing view and use that entrance. But still come in slowly as there is a pot hole or two and small gradiant.

Thanks all.... yes, we all walked away from it, other half's got more whiplash than I have cos he didn't see me coming..... yes.... I ran into the back of him on the M62 when everything in the usual tea time bottleneck just stopped... and I didn't quite.....

This is my mess...

I never liked that bonnet anyway..... but yes, she will be repaired and back fairly shortly, so all being well, will try and get to the next meet.
