Default WTF is this?? *SFW*

Grabbed the Sweeping brush today and this little devil jumped out

I seen some monster Bugs while living abroad but never one this big here in Blighty.

Anybody ID this little Beauty? Cockroach from Sellafield?

Looked like it had wings i think. I found out while cutting it in half with a shovel

It is a Beetle... His name could be John, Paul or Ringo, one of those as nobody can remember the other!

I'd go with it being a water based beetle (from it's design)

quick look on google for water beetles brought this up, looks a similar design and pattern. Yours has grooves obviously but did read that females run grooves so possibly a female one of these..
