7x17 et 35 comp 5 spokes (205/40/17)

anyone running these on there mk3/4 escort
put mine on yesterday and there catching the inner arches on full lock

is there any diference between base models and rst hubs if so this may be the problem ???

What tyres are they? I've got 8x17 ET35 Comp Mo's with 205/40/17 tyres and mine only catch the tiniest bit.

makes me wounder if the hubs are diferent then any one got any ideas on this ?

I thought RST hubs were bigger as they use a thicker driveshaft? I know thats the case on MK3 Fiesta's, not sure about Escorts.
