Default filling gearbox up

i need to buy a haynes manualwhere is the filling point for the box on a s1 and how do i fill it up.syringe etc?oh and what grade.thanks peeps

allen plug front of box mate, i think 75w90 is ok

Go buy an oil syringe. They aren't alot of money and makes the job alot easier.

Makes it so much easier tho the pipe is too large for ford box's so i had to put a smaller bit of tube in the end to make it fit. Works perfect now

iv always managed to fill mine up fine with the tube on the end of the bottle of oil, i just approach from underneath, put the tube into the box, then lift the bottle upwards and away it goes. obviosuly if u try the same from above u will lose half the bottle in the engine bay before you get the tube into the box
