Default breather questions, outlet numbers ect

ok i been brave today and done some work on the cossie (well removed the battery )

now the breather i got is a ML developments jobby

its got 4 outlets, hooooge one on the bottom, smaller pipe off bottom and then 2 pipes at top

question is whats the small pipe at bottom ment to be connected too

curantly its leading onn the other side on the engine, is that right or not

also whats the inside of a breather mennt to be like as this one as a type of wall seperating the top from the bottom outlets]

it seems clean in there too , aint it ment to be dirty in there

also whats the thing one of the breather pipes are connected to that leads down where the plenum is

can ya tell ive removed it yet

im acutally gona polish this one aswell

Ginge......................the hooge one at the bottom vents to air,the small one at the bottom drains oil back into the sump via the fitting on the turbo side of the engine at low level, and the two at the top got to the rocker cover(you`ll have to put a fitting in)and the original breather......

Rob....

The wall by the way is a seperator to stop the oil mist blowing out to air,the oil then gathers in the bottom and drains back to the sump...

If its quite clean inside it means your motor is mint and not breathing too much

not from the noises it makes , thats why i was checking, might just be i got no oil in it

not breathing much is a good thing then , thats one off the check list

, thats what im thinking the knocking noise is, hence why im not starting the car

it looks fast, just dont start it and i dont wanna cry

theres no oil under car though but its deffo got various oil leaks, that then leads me to belive its comming from a gasket when under preasure

not sure if thats a good sign or not though
