its got 4 outlets, hooooge one on the bottom, smaller pipe off bottom and then 2 pipes at top
question is whats the small pipe at bottom ment to be connected too
curantly its leading onn the other side on the engine, is that right or not
also whats the inside of a breather mennt to be like as this one as a type of wall seperating the top from the bottom outlets]
it seems clean in there too
, aint it ment to be dirty in there
also whats the thing one of the breather pipes are connected to that leads down where the plenum is
can ya tell ive removed it yet
im acutally gona polish this one aswell

Ginge......................the hooge one at the bottom vents to air,the small one at the bottom drains oil back into the sump via the fitting on the turbo side of the engine at low level, and the two at the top got to the rocker cover(you`ll have to put a fitting in)and the original breather......
Rob....

Rob....
thats exaclty how mines done
i took it out as igot told would be full of shite
its not, well its dirty outside
the small one on bottom is on the same side as the top parts, not on the vent to air side as theres that wall there
there was no pipe on the bottom of it though , gonan fit me blue ones now ( only had em since essex group show day

The wall by the way is a seperator to stop the oil mist blowing out to air,the oil then gathers in the bottom and drains back to the sump...
If its quite clean inside it means your motor is mint and not breathing too much

If its quite clean inside it means your motor is mint and not breathing too much
not from the noises it makes
, thats why i was checking, might just be i got no oil in it
not breathing much is a good thing then
, thats one off the check list
update, missus is shouting at the bad smell comming from the front room saying
"That better not be brought car parts in the house i can smell
"
i cant smell it unless me nose is under it though
guess it must have been in use

it looks fast, just dont start it and i dont wanna cry
theres no oil under car though but its deffo got various oil leaks, that then leads me to belive its comming from a gasket when under preasure
not sure if thats a good sign or not though
well we moved and the garage aint close, her only rule was no car bits, i can get car memrobilia in the house, no oily stuff
