Default monte carlo cosworth alloys on s2

been thinking of trading my 17" diamond cuts in for some 16"x8 et25 monte carlo alloys, but not sure they will rub my coilovers also if they would suit it, has anyone done this also what are your thoughts on the looks?

Darren looking at the 2 pictures the tyre on the 16" rim sticks out where as the 17" tyre goes in from the rim.

Either way the Escos wheels look shit on RST's but if you could get the Monte wheels to fit it would look great

The 16" wheel has 205/40/16 but has an offset of ET15, thats why the stick out by the arch by 10mm.

The 17" mags has a 205/40/17 but has an offset of ET33, thats why they are flush with the body.

The mags are getting refurbed and fitted with 205/40/17 R888 which are actually 212mm wide and look spot on!

that monte wheel in the pic is just fitted with a huuuuuuuuuuge tyre, nothing more to it than that, its definitely not a 40 profile, look at the damn thing, its at very least a 45 profile, maybe even a 50 (based on just going out and looking at the tyres on my mates honda, which are also 205-50-16 )

fit a proper set of 205 40s, or even better 195 40s, and they will tuck much more nicely under the arch

and i too was under the impression the monte wheel shared the exact same offset of et25 as the standard esc cos rim
