I would bet that it is the mainshaft that has snapped, not much you can do about that really but it is a cheap fix if it is that, just rob a mainshaft off any cossie compatable MT75 and its about an hour to swap them...
The big problem with any MT75 derived upgrade is that you are limited on the physical size of components by the original casings, hence why the mainshafts are the weak point now on the Bara/fixit/dome gearboxes.

by the sounds of it .......it could well be the mainshaft as 3rd gear would take it out no problem as thats where the flex on the mainshafts is at it's highest

if he hasn't then it's defo mainshaft which is standard part anyway

Brilliant times just a shame about the box but atleast you have a spare so the car wont be out of action for long. I wonder what sort of times this car would run on a dog box, i know Kev dropped his times a bit when he went to an FFD.
now mate, was going to ring you yesterday to see what you thought but i think it is the main shaft aswell, put it into gear and you can still push car as if in nuetral, ill ring bara tomorrow and get it sent to him
is there any way of modding it, i got told to centre bore drill it and cyro dip it in nitrogeon for 24 hours
ashame aswell as i was after 10.2 or 10.3 this weekend and with the first 2 runs being 10.61 then 10.51, i still had the l/c to use and get into the groove after a few more runs
