anyone actually downloading anything from suprnova.org at the moment - i can see stuff but cant download anything - wont even connect to any trackers?

 

same here, been like that for me for the past week

 

hmmmm - just though it may be bacuse ive just installed bit tornado instead of bit torrent and though DOH! , removed it and gonr back and still nothing - wont connect to stuff even with hundreds of downloads and seeds - strange

 

right - just been on a bbs that says it has been closed down by a 3rd party.

here is one of the mirror sites which will start the load (which is more than suprnova.org will allow ) - but every single one comes back with bad tracker.

what program so you use? Shareazza? azuruis?(sp?)

 

All the links are popping up "no known mirror" - wtf!?

 

do a search......

the ones on the front page are the only ones fooked!

 

try clearing your temporary internet files and include all offline content. This worked for me.

 

Can someone plz tell me how this works?

 

they are maybe having server problems with to many host trying to connect give them 24 hours it should be back to normal if not give me a shout

 

still no worky - full norton system scan - IE history clean out, reeboot - main site and mirror sites still not working -


not just new stuff - i only use http://search.suprnova.org as THE link rather than going to the home page to start with.

and the other link above http://83.149.90.123/www/list_news.html loads, but get "no known mirror" on every torrent - doh!

banner at the top right ive noticed isnt live - this usually updates with a time/date stamp when the last mirror was hosted - just as above all today

 

Dave Henshall, right looks like there servers are down but there runing a mirrior to make out there nothing wrong how many days has it been down they maybe try to update the site or put new servers in

 

Suprnova is working fine if suprnova is down the trackers will work as suprnova dont have there own tracker and all the torrents on there use public trackers. Suprnovas has around 3 or 4 mirrors at a time so if one gets shut down there's still back ups

If you have recently installed SP2 u need to switch off your windows firewall or configure it to allow the ports that the client/trackers use or u wont connect to more than 1 torrent at a time if your lucky!!

 

i have got SP2 on my new pc for 2 weeks now - but.... it was working fine until today - ive had loads of stuff off there this week.

 

Looks like its down for good. They site has the following message up:

this is a sad sad day - ive had literally , 1000 Ł worth of stuff from there in software, mps and vids -

gutted

so who knows of any other torrent sies - im just reloading winMX as we speak
