Small end conrod bearings?

Small end conrod bearings?
Hi was thinking of changing the small end bearings because one is closed to the alowed 24.05mm. Its on 24.00mm
have looked at new ones but they say you need to hone them to size once they are fitted. Any one ever done this and honed them?. Or is it an engineers job?
