Default s2 fuel lines

I've got to replace the steel fuel lines which run underneath the car and was wondering if anybody knows how to seperate one of the lines from the round black plastic connectors, there's one in the engine bay and one just in front of the fuel tank. (hope that makes sense)
Thanks

hi andy, to remove the one by the tank, from the metal pipe, there are 2 small bits sticking out of the plastic conector, push them in at the same time, and pull the 2 pipes appart, the front one, i know exactly which one you mean, i have to do the same, there is apparently a hole in the conector, i was told to push something in the hole, and pull the 2 appart, im having trouble finding the hole though , (said the actress to the bishop,) ,

i will do it in the next few days, if your still stuck, p,m me, and i would have figured out how to do it,

also mate, the front plastic pipe were talking about. is no longer available from ford, my parts man, found one up in mandsfield though., at a ford dealers, if you do need this one too, i can get the number of the place too,

here are the 2 part numbers for the metal pipes , if you needed them,

i have the 2 pipes sitting here, ready to fit,

I've always just taken them off with a sharp knife. Of course each time the pipe becomes ~5m shorter.
