Hello people, just wondering if you can help ?

I did a mk2 fiesta a while back and i put it on bike carbs running megajolt on an rs1800 engine.

This was simple enough to do as the fiesta never ran an ecu or had hardly any wiring.

I have an escort si now and am thinking of doing the same BUT the only thing i think i will have trouble with (have not done too much research yet) is that the escort has alot more wiring under the bonnet and also an ecu to deal with also abs and such like.

Will the old ford ecu have to remain to run anything the megajolt wont or can it be removed totally and just run EDIS4 and megajolt the same as my fiesta did.

HOPE SOMEONE CAN SHINE A BIT OF LIGHTON THE SUBJECT.
