Just had a letter through the post
My clean license is now no longer clean
Fookers
38 in a 30 on a dual carridgeway
Got done by some jobsworth parked in a white van in the middle of the road. And guess what .....Parked illegally as per usual
He must have earn't his money that day coz I was driving at the same speed as everyone else.
What annoys me is the fact that this road should be 40mph coz its dual carridgeway and the houses are set back from the road a bit, and the road before where he got me is a 40mph and there is NO difference in the road at all
Merry fucking Christmas

same here, just waiting for the letter. 30 limit down a big hill and wide road. just put it into 4th, but downhill there was no way it was gonna stay at 30 lol
i might ask for the photo as with all the crap off the roads you can hardly read my plate....but thats probably just asking for trouble

You 'did not receive the letter', if you know what I mean so you could not reply to it. As long as you don't mind going to court etc. you 'can' get away with it.
Pesonally I believe that if you know you have done wrong then fair 'nuff accept it. However when I think they're just money-making (dual carriageways etc etc, especially on the A1!) and hiding to catch you then you should mess them about. That way even if you do pay it costs them more in admin. If everyone did it then they'd stop ripping the motorist off even more!
I've had three letters and no points yet! Causes a bit of stress but saves money in the long run.

I got done for three figures, but as i would have lost my job if i lost my licence they gave me 5 points (i was on six) and also a Ł850.00 fine plus court costs.
three years means im down to 5 points, 4 years means 11 points
Hence i bought a road angel
