Default strange hissing on tickover on v6 mondeo

I seem to have a hissing noise coming from the back of my engine on tickover. sounds like its sucking in though not blowing out??

its a 1995 2.5 duratec on 92000 miles

any ideas on how to stop it cos its doing my head in.

thanks

Will be some sort of leak that is allowing you to hear vacuum on the inlet side of things but im not familiar enough with that engine to suggest where is most likely, first thing to check is none of the vacuum pipes to the fpr etc are off or the servo pipe leaking etc
