hi all , ive just purchased my first sapphire cossie and ive bought it with a possible fooked engine , ive not looked into it fully yet as the car is only getting delivered to me next week but thought i better test the water to see if there are any engines out there as i possibly plan to totally rebuilt the original into a bit of a weapon over a period of time but fancy making the car useable sooner , any help would be appreciated , no doubt ill be after all sorts of bits and advice to help me with the car ,

right, the car got delivered to me this afternoon i did a compression check and bugger all on cyl 1 so ive whipped the head off and the piston is a bit fooked to say the least and melted to the block , as far as i can see the head is fine , so im looking for a block its currently on a 205 block but open to suggestions ?? full engine if its cheap enough !!!

thanks mate but the bore on no1 is badly scored and upon closer inspection today there is a bad crack from one of the bolt holes so its a full botom end i need !!!

 

i got a set of pitons if you want them, std size
