is £38 p+p for a ford head gasket over priced because i do

so who has the contact number for farriday so i can order my copper head gasket

Payen make the head gaskets for ford.. most motorfactors will be able to order one in for you and they are a lot cheaper!

spoke to mike he suggested stayin with the ford gasket for the meantime but PJM AND I say PJM YES PJM just supplied the head gasket for £6 look at my shopping list thread above or below this one

Not sure on quality of any other companies head gaskets, but thats one thing I wouldn't skimp on... its an important part that you want to a good high quality

just paid £32 for mine form Ford always go for genuine Ford kit when t comes to head gaskets

The only car i would put a £6 gasket on would be something cheap I was selling quickly...

the head gasket boys is on specail and is a hall paylen which is a standard ford headgasket with out the logo and the bolts are ford bolts too.

ford dont make parts they buy them from the same people all the other companys get theres from,i made pas pumps and water pumps for ford,you go to a ford dealer for a water pump then go to unipart dealer for the same pump made by the same people, ie me £30 cheaper thank you very much,cossie head gasket is made by victor reinze in germany you pay more at ford than say pj motorsport and they are the SAME.

In the past i have used payen, and felpro gaskits and have had no probs
at all. I dont think its to dear though.

tbh think its cause some gaskets are shite, the ford ones are very much proven in alot of performance cars


if it would dont change it imo

theres a special way to tighted a head gasket too not the haynes manual way though

no im doing the head gasket but what im pointing out is that my cheap head gasket is made by the people who i have been told supply ford so in theory same gasket just with out the expensive robbing logo

basically that little extra your paying gives you that piece of mind that you have got a genuine good quality gasket rather then having that doubt.

i gather thats for me,we supplied ford with their parts built on the same line using the same parts as the unipart pumps,so please tell me where the difference is apart from price,we also supplied jag,rover and nissan and unipart also got these parts aswell,a cossie head gasket from woodford is cheaper than fords but still made by the same company with the same machines with the SAME material,i should know cause that company was owned by the company i worked for,its a con,

check out the price of a crank sensor (cossy) from ford & then check out the price ot amber performance. same part both made by webber BIG price difference. come 2 think about it 200 block from ford is about £1400 from cosworth its about £575. ford r robbin b******s
