Is a standard Evo 6 quicker than a stage 3 Escort cossie??

Depends on whos driving it, idont think there would be great difference
between them.

On the pull away I'd imagine the Evo would be in front but then I would of thought the Cossy would catch up and slowly walk away

Impossible to say..

Std Evo 6 = around 270bhp
Stage 3 cossie = Anything from 250 - 350bhp (I've seen them all ) and equal variations of torque.

Esc Cos is lighter (especially if it's not the full blown late version safety model)
Cossie has more transmission losses

This is all straight line stuff anyway..

I would say Cossie IF it's a decent stage 3 and running right. Not sure sure if there was a corner involved though.

How much difference is there between the two??

Im just trying to see if a standard gsr would be quicker than a stage 3 (330bhp) escort cossie??

Not sure which to buy!!!!
