i have just brought an engine which has been recently rebuilt it has covered 10 miles and still needs running in what do i need to do?

there is loads of topics on here with all the info to suit your needs with regards oil,filters miles ect ect
is the engine rebuild with new everythink or just a hone and new rings on old pistons and shells
the question i would be asking is why has it only done 10 miles then sold as its alot of work to take it out a car and sell it on so few miles either they are skint or the engine has hidden issues
check the paperwork for the engine and ring the engine builder if it has been done by a diy e/builder with no rep i would strip it and check things over to make sure its all fine and i will be using digital verniers/calipers all it will cost you is a gasket set to put back together filter and minearal oil
