Are you all tucking your cars up for winter??

All i keep reading is 'just put my cossie away for the winter'!!

This is making me and the wife re-considering buying an escos as we will be using it everyday!!!

What are your views on using an escos everyday???

(if we dont buy an escos then we will be buying an evo 6)

 

I havent even got mine out of the garage all year!,but in the past I used it every day,no probs,I think the reason is people dont like them getting dirty and covered in salt and sh*t,they are getting rarer and rarer and people are looking after them.
theres still plenty of people who do use them every day and its more than capable of doing it,afterall it is a rally car

 

As long as you change the oil regularly have it serviced every 6k or so it will be fine. Waxoil wouldn't go amiss in the winter....Its still a ford.

 

mine gets used as often as possible it will take more than a bit of salt 2 keep it off the road, mines fully waxoyled and washed very regular, it dont do em any justice locked away in a carpeted garage they were built 2 be driven and driven mine gets just dont leave parked anywhere or it will get mauled or nicked plus its also 4wd what more out of a car could you ask for

 

not putting mine away....getting used all year round, even though it is only at the weekends.

I just try and keep ontop of the dirt/salt.

i use mine every day, wash it every week, check the oil every week lol. as said above its 4x4 so its ideal. will be getting mine waxoiled when it gets a bit of paint as well

 

Not Putting mine away either, its used rain come shine. what the point having it if u dont use it !!!!!!!!!!!

 

I used my Esc Cos for 1 month and covered over 3000miles it was costing too much to run daily (400bhp on blues), so now only use it as and when I wanna cause I got an Astra as a daily runner

Dont mind her being out in the rain, etc or she wouldn't get used in the UK

 

use mine everyday for a 5min jouney to work come rain or shine,but its for sale now 1994 small turbo metalic ash black,55100 miles with f.s.h,18" alloys lux pack apart from air-con stage 1 chip

Escort away but the saff gets used every day and since i got it 4 months ago the misses has done 5 k in it and gets it very dirty

but it does clean up nice

 

I don't use mine every day as it was costing me too much just to go to work and back (50 miles a day). I just run a cheapy for an every day runaround. Makes me appreciate the cos when i do go out in it.

Mine doesn't hibernate either, i use it most days. I just wash it more regulary
