a saff with a 3dr front bumper on, apparently someone has done this before, i am doing it now and have chopped the bumper etc but just been told that there was a mag that had a moonstone one in with this done, anybody heard of it or have pics???

I did the opposite and put a Sapphire front on my XR4i. The side brackets on the car are in the wrong place and have to be moved to suit the new bumper. Not sure how it will fit under the lights and grill but it'll be interesting to see when you are finished.

I am sure it wont fit like that when the strut brace has done it..

1. Went to rebuild his rst car ended up getting scrapped..

2. Went to rebuild his 2wd saph car ended up getting scrapped..

3. Now owns a lovley 4x4 saph but now carl has started to max power it (clear back lights bodged a bigger spoiler on the back and is now going to try and fit a 3dr bumper on a saph)

A standard 3 door bumper might work better than that 500 item - the dip under the grill is just wrong.

And I still don't think the fit along that top edge is going to be good enough - I would certainly wedge it in place and make sure you can live with the panel fit before you start chopping the wings about to move the side brackets.

Yep, definately the same one I remember the 'It's Fun' number plate and, it has the same graphics down the side. IIRC, he did a speed run and then disappeared in a cloud of smoke and finished in a ditch.

 

just had a watch of gis, the black saff at the end has a saff bumper on in one scene then a 3dr in another scene, must be edited to look like one day or summit

i had aan idear on the same sort of lines. 3dr fog lights (probably more like rs500 grills) & indicators in a saff front bumper. i got hold of a xr41 front bumper an cut out the fog light an indicator part (same as 3dr cossy) about a year ago but thats as far as i got. dont no if i want 2 cut my saff bumper an probably never finish it or it looks shit. what do u lot rekon
