right iv come across yet another problem in my s2 escort.....wen im doing about 30 in 3rd an go to put my foot down its sort of hesitating and sort of coughing? (its hard to explain!) and sometimes backfires very loudly! its only just starting doing it for no reason an i cant seem to find a problem...iv changed leads, plugs, dizzy cap coil an other ignition parts but no change.
any ideas would be much appreciated! thanx

 

Timing out i'd say mate! You had the cambelt done or no if its been done recently?

 

yea the cambelt was done bout a month ago. im gonna take it to rally tec on friday an see if he can sort it coz im useless wiv engines!!! lol
