Been out today and got myself a new phone. Went to T-mobile and got the new G1 comes with 800 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet acces all for £25 a month. I have to say that its so easy to use and the capabilities are endless from using the I-phone i can honestly say that this is a lot better and the internet speed even on just 3g is quality. And by doing some research there is going to be a free sky sports app for it where you will be sent video links to every goal scored or conceded by your premiership team. Highly recommended.

 

There are loads of phones out there mste that'll beat the iphone hands down but the fan boys just won't accept it

I've got te G1 and i love it.
Search the apps for, sat nav, beebplayer, bubble, doom, metal detector, and weather bug. all free and worth having.

 

I've had the i-phone and it shit imo.

but the thing tends to be is that the Nokia can actually do stuff from the factory instead of you having to void your warranty so you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for an App!!*

I dont mind having the option of upgrading my phone in hundreds of different ways after i've bought it.

I used to be a nokia fan boy, had around 10 different ones up to 2years ago including all the new s60 phones and kinda got bored of all the glitches.

Even upgraded to a N97 last week and didn't think too much of it so sold it and stuck with my 2G iphone.

All depends on certain individuals needs if you ask me and the iphone suits me perfectly.

 

Gotta say though if you dont like it so much why do you have to post on every thread about it?! cant say i feel the need to post on every new nokia thread and say how shit they are

 

I understand what you are saying mate, I mean if you want to carry a video recorder a digital camera around as well as your phone it's upto you!

I prefer all my gadgets in one tbh but I get what you are saying come some people have really expensive cameras (are they called SLR's?) so they don't need a good one in their phones

 

I think this thread was intended to be more about the G1 mate TBH but you iphoner's do think the world revolves around the iphone so that's understandable


You keep talking like I have a Nokia mate - or have I misread your comments? I do agree that alot of the newer Nokia's aren't upto par - especially the N96 but I can't pass judgement on the N97 as i've yet to play with one

I love how defensive everyone has become about the phone they have lol. I just cant get over how simple and cheap it is to do everything and more of what the i-phone can achieve. Im sold and wont be losing sleep over the zzzzz-phone, i mean I-phone.

 

The G1 is a nice phone if you want keys. The G1 runs the Google android OS.
