Best laptop for £400?
Looking to get a laptop for my dads birthday. Looking to spend £400-450.
Whats the best one to get? I was looking at Dell as i bought my girlfriend one and its been ok. But, his birthdays on Monday and it will take too long to get one now. Was gonna go in PC World for a look.
Ive seen this one, is it an ok spec? Im shit with computer specs

Hell only be using it for browsing the net and for typing a wee bit on Microsoft Word

Dell is the only PC I'd consider, simply because every one I've had has worked reliably.
I'm no computer boffin though, and I'm sure there will be nine million reasons not to buy a Dell but it works for me.
They sell Dell in the shops now - I've seen them in PC World and in Tesco. I wouldn't recommend Advent - we only had one and it has died a death at only 18m old with a fubar motherboard. May try the sale of goods and merchantable quality ploy.
