I started a post a while back about them i had one on my 3 door & loads of ppl said they are restrictive so andy was going to pick his engine up from harvey & was going to mongoose as well to pick up a few fiesta st exhausts so he picked me up a 3,5 mongoose system. With the scorpion my car wouldnt boost by 25 psi you could wind the actuator up as much as you want , its running p8 with air injectors. so i got the mongoose fitted today & the car is now hitting a boost limit at 32 psi & all i have done is change the exhaust.Just shows how restrictive these fuckers are need only put half a hole on the actuator now & hopefully should be right enough

I know mate fooking shit myself when it hit the limit thought it had threw a leg out of the bed

 

& the scorpion was checked it went into 2 inch in the centre section & rear box

 

must have been a bit of a shock

 

Wow thats crazy Carlo, i think i should have added air injectors to mine when it was setup

 

ava always said that about scorpions when i took an erst to them with 1.

 

didnt know it would make the difference it did i was shocked today , chris mine were supplied with the engine it was mapped on them if your ever going for another mapping session might be worth thinking about air injectors

 

funny you should mention that carlo as i done it with my 3 door i put a straight through pipe and it made a hell of a diffrencei still have the middle section in my garage

Same story with mine carlo, went from the Scrapiron to a Mongoose and had to turn it right down

To get 25 psi i had to put about 3 turns on the actuator & with the air injectors it should have been half a hole

Yeah mate told the guy that fitted my exhaust to sling it. air injectors came with the engine package from harvey when charlie bought it from him..
