I saw this Cosworth cooler at the welders the other day. WOOPS
The guy rekons he was runnning 32psi of boost.
The cooler seems to be 4 4x4 coolers welded together.
Apparently this happened on a track day, after normal hose clips were used and the hose's kept popping off.
Mikalor clamps were used to over come this and this must have been the next weak point.
Can 32psi do this?
Looks like a failure of the weld between the cores and the end tanks. If that was done at 32 psi I would say the welder was at fault. However, seeing as both sides havegone at the same time it suggests to me that there was some sort of explosion in the inlet tract / inlet manifold.

Cool, yeah it was at fine limit welding, over burnt mills.
Martin who does the welding is shit hot, I wouldn't have thought it was his workmanship that was to blame
