1.8 td 5th gear
hi u all! who would like to help me with a 1.8td front wheel drive 5th gear! im in south africa and will import it!

buy a mondeo, they never rot and they drive forever. a mate of mine had a 1.8td and it was on 243,000 miles when he px'd it

all our mondeos r nice but i hav 2 do loads aswell! i own a workshop and transport with it

1.8diesel bantam bakkie! with a 1.8td lump imported from the uk! now i only need the 5th gear! run high revs in 5th gear

is it a cvh or a zetec ?

ive got the 5 speed box but the ratio on the 5th gear r wrong! the zetec 1 will work

I take it your gearbox is a lift up reverse one then.... If so look at 2.0 Mondeos.

i did put the 1,8 td engine! but the normal 1.8 d gearbox

nope! the cvh have the flat cover over the 5th gear and cable clutch! mine r hydrolic with the black bold cover

and the gears sits the same as the cvh and bell housing shape r the same

iB5's were fitted to smaller engined petrol zetecs. I don't know if they were fitted to any diesels or not.

ok cool ill check them out! i just want lower revs! at 140km its already doing 4200rpm and still got power but im afraid for over rev
