Hi there guys, here i have for sale my beloved RS Turbo

F624 DMA - Mercury Grey Series 2 Escort RS Turbo in Mercury Grey. The car is the 88 spec model however i do have a Mercury Grey 90 spec spoiler that will come free with the car. It may need a little bit of paint but some people prefer these spoilers to the 88 spec one. I however didn’t want to mess about replacing original parts of the car.

It is in excellent condition considering the age of the car and is soooo much fun to drive. No matter where i am, motorway, stuck in traffic or even just looking at her sat on the driveway she always brings a smile to my face.

The car has done just over 119,000 miles but had the engine reconditioned by the previous owner - i am the 4th owner and have been in possession of the car for just over a year now.

It is Taxed till September 2010 & MOT till September 2010

The RS has just had fitted this week Cosworth 4x4 front disc's and calipers with near new Red stuff pads which cost £200 in total. The rear drums have also been serviced too.

I have just had a new starter motor fitted as the one on was over 5 years old.

A new CV Joint and driveshaft seals have just been fitted and the car was serviced 300 miles ago with a new LUK performance clutch fitted and new belts and oil.

I bought the car at 118,000 miles and only used it to drive to commute to work on a Friday and as a Sunday car. This car has always been reliable and ive never had a failure on it. Having said that the car has always been looked after by me and its previous owners and you can check out the cars history on the RS Owners Club forum.

I have a genuine reason for sale. I currently cycle to work hence only doing such low mileages since owning her. But as i have been offered a new job i will need to drive to work. I could use this car for my job but it would seem such a shame to tot the mileage up as i will be doing around 40,000 miles a year.

Bad Bits:

As seen in the picture the car has the usual stone chips on the bonnet which inevitable and the car has a very small bubble appearing in the driver’s side corner of the windscreen.

A lot of people think because this car is a Turbo the insurance will be high, but when i first got insured on it at 20 it cost me £900 fully comp with no claims. My premiums have since reduced to £640.

back up for sale now guys. Couldnt bring myself to selling it last time, but now with my job i just dont want to drive her in the rain every day here in Blackpool.

She now has 12 months Tax and MOT - i have painted the rear drums black and it will come with Cosworth Discs and Calipers with good condition red stuff pads. These will need to be fitted but will come with the car. Oh, ive just fitted a brand newly painted Black Ford Charge Carrier and removed the aftermarket swirl pot as it as rubbish

I wont sell if i dont get my price as i have already seen my new car and can afford to buy without selling.
