James - seriously ? i'm single, the only outgoings i have are Child support to my nippers mum and rent and i'm lucky if i've got any dollar left in the bank at the end of the month ! i feel for you mate, seriously i do.
I suspect the "working class" dont fit in with the picture of average. More like lower middle class.
Wonder if those figures have been statistically adjusted to take into account the rich people to avoid over inflating the figures.

it seems to me being legitimate in this country gets you nowhere i've been in and around the building trade for a fair few years now including working for a international insurance based company and even the big companies are robbing the system
ive seen a good semi legitimate builder accept £28k in checks and a that again cash in a year, a legit insurance repairer (glass, lock, entry system, garage doors ect) struggling for £30k but the ive seen guys using multiple bank accounts paying cash for material back handers to security guards and shifting close to 300k + another legit business + rental property
i know which one id rather be lol
