HI PPL CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHY MY T3 TURBO HAS NOT GOT ANY COOLANT GOING TO ONLY OIL?WONDERED IF THIS IS OK TO RUN LIKE IT?

they can run like this as the water feed to them is only needed when warming up and cooling down. as long as you let the car warm be for useing it and then let it cool down for a few mins when you have finished it will be fine

If i can put water to it where do i hose it to?
Icansee where it goes on the top hose its got a bolt in it stoping it the water comeing out!! But dont no if there is a other hose to some other place?

on the side of the radiator is the other connection, mine ar both blocked off with a series1 t3

if it's a series one t3, then it'll only have an oil feed hole and an oil return pipe.
if it is a series two turbo, then it'll have the same as above, but with two big threaded holes in either side 90 degrees from oil connectors which banjo fittings connect to for the water.
you can run the sreies two water cooled turbo without the water connected, however after a hard run, you'll need to allow engine to run for a few minutes to let the turbo cool and not suffer from heat problems.
not connecting water will aid engine cooling.

THANKS M8 I THINK ILL LEEVE IT OFF THEN
EVEN THOW IT SEEMS TO RUN VERY COOL..
