I love been on track.I was at ford fair last year with Blacky in the Royal Nail and it was mint beinf on track.I loved every minute of it.

Zetec S mate, didn't too bad, I thought it was gonna be terrible as everything would be quicker, but was a few cars at the same pace which made it all about who broke later and kept their toe down around corners which made it good

Do you think you needed a harness?

i've got the full heated leather st seats so not sure if they'd be too slippy or not with the standard seat belt?

I was fine mate, not once did I think I was slipping. The bolsters on the seats hold you in pretty well. Mine is only half leather so be grippier than full leather but I can only assume it'd be ok

Thats me in the orange tshirt in the backgrond lol. you did well mate we couldnt figure out what lump you had in it as it wasnt making much noise but went well! the ax was making me laugh, it was so unstable lol

Yeah I was scared for the first couple of laps, I let everyhing past me to get into it so had the track to myself for a few laps

Yeah just a standard 1.6 Zetec S engine Thanks mate! Did better than I thought with only 100bhp!

Yeah that AX was funny how much it was boating, but fair play to the guy. Had a few battle scars which made me a bit wary as he wouldn't care if he hit me

That's what I was hoping you guys would be able to tell me! I had the edge but it was so so minimal it could just be put down to a better exit speed! It could be a 1.4 but it's power to weight will probably be about the same.

Suppose this shows that a good suspension kit is certainly worth it for the track?

 

Definetly. It would have been crap without it.

People seem to rate AP as budget but I don't think they looked budget on track, certainly didn't feel it, was planted in bends. Only had one hairy moment at the back of the track where it bends to the right but the camber changes sloping down left so the back started to go but I held it ok
