anyone heard of "Omnitel 1000 km race" in Lithuania? There are two teams from GB participating in this event:

1)
Drivers: Rigo Meys, Martin Parsons, Nikolay Zhuravlev, Giles Groombridge
Class: A3000
Team name: Brunswick Automotive
Car: BMW 130i
Team manager: Giles Groombridge

2)
Drivers: Drew Holland, Dave Holland, Michael Holland
Class: A3000+
Team name: Wash & Go
Cars: Ford Sierra RS500, Ford Sierra Cosworth
Team manager: Gintare Lomsargyte

As I have a big passion for the fast fords, it's the second team that I hope will win

16th of July:
*Show off time. Cruising around the streets of Palanga.

*Fun time. The engineers from each team will do 1 km run.

Bad news cossies broke down The rs500 didn't even start the race because of gearbox failure and the white 3door the headgasket blew up after 42 laps.

The other GB team Brunswick Automotive with BMW 130 came in 18th place out of 52.
