Default Escort Van TD can i fit a TDCI?

Hi, how difficult would it be to fit a newer TDDI or TDCI from a mondeo etc into my 2001 escy van?

was considering this myself. parked my van and my bro's focus 1.8 tdci side by side, and yes it will fit. but, engine mounts are in completely different places, you would need to take gearbox, linkage, loom, e.c.u & clocks. would be a great conversion but loads of work.
