hi,just lately ive been having oil cuming out my dump valve.it did it a while back so i fitted a oil catch tank then it was all fine no oil or any thing.but no its started doing it again.theres oil in the metering unit under the air filter,the bottom end is all rebuild its had valve stem seals put in,gota get it sorted cause ford fair is very soon! any help would be great thanks

 

ive been told its best to run the oil catch tank to the atmosphere is this true?its a brand new turbo technics turbo aswel because my mate said its the turbo seals have gone but carnt be if brand new! still any help woulb be great thanks!

 

i used to have the same problem...oil from the dump valve when i was pushing the car. Then i fitted an oil catch tank and now isn't there any sign of oil...But i vented the fumes to the atmosphere. My filter is like new now after 1500km

 

thanks for the reply mate! it looks like ill have to vent the fumes to the atmosphere! going to do compression test in abit just to make sure.cheeRS mate
