0,1 bar is roughly 0,15 psi

so if you re running 6 psi its just 0,4 bar

Have you checked the amal valve, although this would not make it smell, need more information, whats the spec of the car? Also yours would be 224HP as standard.

the cars engine is standard, i might take the ECU out and see if the chip has been changed, its goes well for 0.5 bar though squats on boost in 1st/2nd gear

thanks for your advice tony

Yes should be about 15PSI, have you checked the amal valve I described earlier and also check actuator as well.

I think the lack of boost now is because the engine is not starting!!

You did note the orientation of the chip when you removed it and put it back the same way ?

Making sure the ecu plug is pushed fully home would be my first port of call!

As for the boost, do you still have a standard plastic dumpvalve? There was one on my car when i got it, it was leaking like a fucked fridge and loosing me loads of boost Check that and check all the hose are on and you have no airleaks. After that look at adjusting the actuator.

To be honest i'd probably change that chip to one from a know good company and set the car up the way they advise, that would be the safest route!
