Goes to show, no matter how much technology or ability the car has, if the driver doesn't have anything in his locker then this sort of thing is inevitable.

Bit harsh. Even the best drivers are entitled to fuck up. There could have been any number of things that happened outside of the drivers control, component failure, diesel spill. I've hit diesel and nearly had a crash as a result, I'm open to admit th ereason I didn't crash was not my talent
