Default having a car transported - costs

ive won a car on ebay and wandered how much it would cost for me to have it trasnported from Mitcham to oswestry in shropshire.

seeing if its going to be cheaper to get it moved for me or to hire a trailer for the weekend and pay the fuel.

if people who can do it please pm me a price i can see then how much it is and if its worth me doing it myself.

Cheers

James

would prefer to pay someone on here rather than a random person on ebay to be honest least most people are know to alot of others on here so its not as if they would do anything sus where as the bloke on ebay could be anyone and i never see the car!

i was worried like that,i paid £££££ into someones bank before even seeing the car,and instructed this boy with a recovery veichle to collect and deliver for his quoted £300

he delivered no hassle and car was insured to be left on his truck over night where he stopped

the car in question has no MOT and has a caved in wing and broken bumper, oh and will have an odd wheel for it just to sit on so wouldnt be the best idea driving it back from London! lol

Can hire a trailer and will tow it with the not so trusty 406, but just wanted to see if it would be as cheap and also less hassle to get someone to get it for me.

i would do it for you @ £1 per mile one way-(there is a minimum charge of £45) from his postcode to yours, but also have to calculate from my postcode to the other one(which is closest to me,as i would go from warrington,wa1 4pa to there and continue down to you).so if im 45 miles from him and he is 150 miles from you then its £195-as long as the vehicle rolls on to the trailer without extra time spent-ie bent suspension, flat tyres etc.

i have a brian james tilt bed trailer and decent 4x4 and have moved a few cars on here for people......
