Default zetec, 300hp?

Ive read through a few topics but i thought it would be easyer to ask.

Whats needed to get a 2L zetec to 300hp with a turbo of course. Main things i need answering is
What internaly needs to be changed?
What injectors will flow enough for 300hp?
How much boost will i need to run?
and what is the most cost effective ECU can handle a turbo?

Thanks for all the help.

Due to your location, I would use whatever ecu the people around you can work with, no point of cheapest one if no one can map it.
As to the rest not sure, zetecinside would be a good place to start.

i run a zetec turbo around that power and my spec is
2.0l blacktop engine
wrc rods forged pistons
st170 head gasket
rover inlet manifold
stainless steel exhaust manifold
gt28 turbo
full 3" exhaust system
480cc injectors
gotech management
area six valve springs
ect ect

what gearbox do you plan on running?? the ib5/bc is shit and wont last to long .

ps the standard rods are ment to be good for 300hp but i wouldnt take the chance on them, stock pistons are no good.

Thats a good way at looking at it tabetha thanks. I will phone around the local dyno places and see what they would rather tune =)

crazycage, The zetec will be going in my Mk2 escort. Would a T9 box be up to the job?
The car has a 2.5" zorst atm will that flow enough?
So did you keep the head standard? cams?
