My car was in a garage the other day having some bits and bobs fitted, and the mechanic (who knows a thing or two about cossies) said that it's not a standard turbo on it.
The car is a 1993 large turbo escort cosworth.
Apparently he reckons it's some kind of rally hybrid, which seems to have a slihtly larger compresser housing, with a chamfered edge to it where the intake pipe connects to it.

The numbers are as follows:-

452059-1
WB0285A

Also it has a stregthening bar underneth the car conecting the suspension up, which goes over the top of the exhaust. He had to modify that to fit my new magnex in without it catching.
Any clues anybody?

It looks like a normal big turbo cossie turbo, T34 model.

it has a restrictor fitted on it though,as you know already.
