iam looking at rebuilding the bottom end of my rs turbo and just wondering what pistons, rods etc people on here would recomend cheers

 

Depends how far you plan to go, and wot you want to do

 

all depends on what power you are looking at and how much are you spending

 

Its mainly going to be used on the track and my budget is around 1500 so what ever i can get for really cheers

 

Right...you'll have to build it yourself if you want a good spec for £1500 but for reliability i'd go for a steel bottom end, you'll need :
Steel Rods (Pec do some that are reasonably priced)
Forged pistons (Pec do some low comp wossners or accralites from burton)
Standard grind crank (if you can)
Good quality bottom end bearings - mains/big ends
New genuine ford oil pump
payen gasket set (full bottom end set)
