hi,are the drive flanges that go through the hub the same on all 4x4 models?like would xr4x4 flanges be ok in a cossie hub?
thanks
thanks
Best way to be 100% sure is check part numbers, I can't see why they would be any different, the 2wd cossie hub flange is no thicker than a std 2wd one I do know, as I've measured them but never 4wd.

Yes they are the same, the only difference is the actual driveshaft is longer on the normal non cos 4x4 ones but these can be swapped over or kept as they help if the car has been lowered.
There are probably no other Ford hub flanges that are same as 4x4 Cosworth's? As for example mk1/mk2 Mondeo front hub flanges look very much the same, but surely they must have slightly different dimensions?
From memory they are different as I needed a set for my Xr hubs and was asked which version I wanted
Although saying that I know the Granada 4wd hub flanges are a direct swap as I've done it

Lol,that was a while ago,
as said they were the same,
they do seem to wear where inner bearing race sits, think I've replaced them a couple of times over the last 15 year,
