Default Timing mark on a BMW 1.8i B20 N42

Hi guys,

Currently working on a BMW B20 N42 and can not locate the hole in the gearbox to insert the timing tool to lock the crank via the flywheel.

Would anyone know where this might be? According to the autodata it there should be a hole on the gearbox side.

The car has a autobox if that makes any difference.

Thanks
Bobby

Its a tool that fits a hole in the engine block and travels trough and engages with the flywheel or in your case a flex plate...
