Always people going on about big brakes so thought id take a pic of mine before i replaced the pads.

Hardly any rust actually, 98% percent of what you can see is plastic and alliminum arch liner covered in mud.

Here she is.....I love driving her more than my Escort cossie, S1 RST, Mk1 mex rep, Mk2 golf VR6 and all the others put together.

ive got a set of AP calipers from a land rover to go on my escort estate when its finished,do you know if i will be able to get uprated pads for them atall

Yes, a lot of landys use "green stuff" and similar brands. In off roading Its supprising how much our on the brakes, and also if towing say a 3 ton trailer.

All 4 landy disks are vented and you can also get grooved and drilled disks, not that theyl fit the escort.

Can also get reds I think, did a rangey years ago, the seals on swivel hubs, as owner was too tight to get new ones, rusted to shit they were.

what would be the better pads for my car with the calipers,its going to be 4wd with a cossie engine and about 350bhp,its going to be used for mainly shows and nice weekends aswell,would the green stuff pads be best

Dont know really matey, depends on how your going to drive it.

Where id you get the idea to use these calipers anyway, or are you trying something new? never heard of using these before!
