sure i read the other day on here that they cost 32000 to replace, is this correct lol

you're thinking of the GTR v-spec which will come with ceramic brakes.
still not 32k though

carbon ceramics are hellishly expensive but i doubt htey got 50% of the cars RRP!

Just done a quick google search and a lot of sites are saying that the gost circa £35k and have been quoted as "ultra-expensive"

it's the reason a lot of peole my mate knows didn't spec them on their porches as they are the wrong side of £12k when they need replacing

my missus friend had the carbon brake option on her CSL, didnt realise they where thet dear tbh

He is indeed CORRECT. It was in the Evo mag and i just checked again and it says 35k to replace the V-Spec Brakes.

with them being ceramic, they should last a whole lot longer than non-ceramic breaks, pretty sure they should do 80-100k miles with out dics being changed, mind you, this is providing you don't regularly thrash it round a track

an old client of mine had a 911 gt2 and managed to go through a set of PCCB discs in 30k, but 20k of that was on the track........
