Fresh pics of my modded ST200
Well it has been quite a while since I posted on here, so I thought i would break that run and post something.
After a dirty winter I splashed out on the full Meguires range, Clay Bar, Crystal polish and Carnuba wax and really give her a good clean. Took about 5-6 hours but worth it I think. The clay bar really makes a difference and easy to do.
Recently, bleed brakes and put in Dot 5.1 which makes a difference, did the black eye-look and changed the drivers side wish bone which was positively knackered. The n/s one is still fine but will need to be changed at some stage, which I know is a lot more difficult than the drivers side.
Any still enjoying the ST and went past 100K a couple of months ago !

Thanks for the replies guys, its a great everyday car.
Rob V, I only heard on Sat night that this was on and was away for w/e so no chance. No Cossies at the mo, last one was the Escort, hence the stupid user name

nice one rob, liking the sound of the Mk1 Cossie, some great projects like that on here, you still around Cork ?
I'll leave you off with having a non-Ford seen as I had a 5 series and Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo before the current ST

Thanks for the nice comments lads, Glenn wheels are 19's and I've put proper spacers and changed the studs to longer ones on the rear to get the arches as full as possible. I have a thing about getting the rears looking phat

looks well smart mate, i use meguires carnuba wax on mine aswell really works well on imperial blue
wana get some new wheels and springs for mine soon, did u lower yours 50mm all round or drop the front a bit more than the back cos standard these seem to sit a bit lower on the back so would be nice to mine even ,
What a stunning motor!!!
Seeing this car made me change my mind about getting a Focus. I had a look through my old FastFords buyers guide to the ST200 and instantly knew I was gonna buy one.....that was till I did a insurance quote and got Ł2100 as my cheapest. Not being funny but I dont want one that bad lol.
The 6 hours of cleaning it paid off fella!!! Well done!!!

You will love my missus cos her rear is getting PHAT

And if she see's this post ill have a PHAT lip

Nice looking ST there, quite fancy doing a couple of wee bits to mine as well.. mainly to get rid of the multi-spoke wheels which are a ball ache to clean.
..interested to know more about the spacers/studs on the rear since I think the wheels can look a little lost on the rear of mondeos.
Where did you get the springs from too??
Cheers,
Grant

thanks again for all the positives guys
To answer a few questions, springs were rated at 50mm but its hard to know because without the ICE its sits up a little at the back but sits ever so slightly down with in it and besides spring drops are notoriously off the mark, then there's the issue over if the 50mm quoted is for a regular V6 24V, ST24 or ST200 as some companies list the same part nos.
The spacers are 15mm hubcentric, so they sit perfectly on the hub and the outside face has an identical new hub lip and with 15mm extra long studs, easy enough to change yourself, I got them from some rally place in Somerset, they have stuff on ebay too. The arches are seriously rolled too as the previous wheels were 1/2 inch wider, hence the spacers with this set. I did have to do a bit more trimming though but its only at that point you know that you've got it perfectly right

Really like that alot. What make are the wheels? They look so much better than the originals and i just know i'll own one of these soon as i seem to have a thing about going through the ford range lol so want to know which wheels to find when i do lol.
