Basically I’m just trying to see what interest there would be in a little Manchester/North West meet sometime.

I was just wondering what interest there would be, see who would be up for it? When the best time for people would be i.e. Weeknight, weekend? Locations? Etc

So give your thoughts

Will see how much more interest there is then look at sorting a time & place. Got a decent amount of interest already though

Yeh wouldnt do it on the same day as a show mate. If a date is chosen well in advance it gives everyone time and also the more interest the better...

Still unsure on where though. A nice pub with a decent sized car park or something...

Cheers for the suggestion. The only problem i have with that, is that its over 1hr away from me. My plan was to try and get a nice little local meet for everyone...

Im usually travelling south for everything so wanted to sort something without much travelling for us Northerners haha...

Its upto what everyone wants to do though i suppose.

what about the tickled trout hotel preston, just of the M6 or a motorway services

 

i'd be working of a saturday but could deffo do a sunday, would be good to have it in daylight if people want to get decent pics etc..

varied locations is a winner too.

should have drive outs once a month like on MCR VTEC, all meet at one point, go for a drive down some fastastic roads, past cat and fiddle etc...

then stop at a pub for dinner on the way back, winner

Great idea , get a poll going with dates , day and location and lets get it moving . Will be easier to sort out then and quicker .

 

Middlebrook could be an idea, pretty much neutral between Preston and Manchester, seem to recall a pf meet there at the bowlin place a while back.

Middlebrook have always been a bit cunty when we've gone there. I suggest parking in the Pub/Hotel over the road from the Reebok main entrance. They're always fine.

A resturant, a bar and a hotel. And if anyone fancies a spirited drive there is Rivi not so far away
