as most of u know i sold my white s2 in my sig few weeks back.the lad had it a week and it was rear ended.
im tinkin of building or buying an rs turbo'd orion.(mk2 orion)(mk4 escort shape)
i could probly buy my old s2 back and swap all parts or i could buy an efi 1.6i orion and efi turbo it.whats peoples thoughts?
anyone know of any about?
or ones that are already done etc?

Loads of good orion bases still about. you'll get a solid ghia and change for Ł500. Make sure you get one with a good back bumper though, you just CANT get them. anywhere. seriously.

you'll always have the slight sleeper look with an orion too, which i absolutely love.

The mk2's really do look like baby saff's with the right choice in bumpers and wheels.

 

yep saff cos spoiler,90 spec front bumper and diamond cut rs7s

 

i like orions best with the mk3 shape s1 style

 

thers a nice mint 40k miler on pistonheads.could be a good base

 

A mate of mine built a turbo orion had it 9 years and owed him 30k, was quality car though.

I'm deffo a mk2 boy (mk4 shape), but i prefer the mk3 escort over the mk4. i know it doesn't make sense lol.

build it ya self..atleast u knw whats inside it...find a 1.3 though,as wen u insure it,it will be so much cheaper,my rs2k orion cost me only Ł110 fully comp a year..im building 2 orions at the mo,a mk1 and a mk2,mk2s in white,mk1 will be series 1 kitted,just waiting for end off month when can drop it with jamsport,so if any1 wants any parts,inc dash,then they will av to call him....good luck with it,and dont let any1 put you off,orions are always the dogs danglies,enit mojo....

Mate of mine is rebuilding a blue turbo`d orion which was featured a few years ago
