how many of u would work a month for nothing or a week if it ment saveing ur company i dont work for BA just wondering... i know wot i would say ends in (off) lol

i EVERYONE does it, then yeah, i probably would. if it meant abit of job security.

i wouldn't go a month cold turkey though, i'd probably see about payment for a fortnight then fortnight off if you see what i mean.

I would provided it was set in stone that should it not work and I loose my job, I am guaranteed that month salary paid back.

Thing is, if it goes belly up, the workers are at the bottom of the list for getting paid out.

Id be working out a repayment plant with them and adding on interest.

Sure I'll work for a month on no pay, but I want I want that months pay spread out over the remaining 11 months with an extra months pay thrown in....

or is that just the banker in me talking

Still at least BA staff are getting the choice. We aint in the financial industry, I have watched all the managers further up the line get the chop. Where there was 5 managers looking after out center there is now 2. Its our turn next.

So if it was the case of work or no job I would work.

it would depend on whether all my debtors would be prepared to miss that months payments. id hazzard a guess as to no they wouldnt so neither would i.i couldnt afford to. i cant imagine the total amount of a weeks pay would make a significant difference to the future of a company that size other than letting the bosses know that they can do what they like from now on and the workforce will accept it...

The problem is, is the CEO or MD going to be taking a pay cut or working for free ? very doubtfully.
