the rl7's i have recently put on my 2wd sapp are 17x8 et33 all round with 215/40/17 tyres all round also.Is anyone else running this sort of set up on there sappy's?.wheels look phat on the car but the fronts especially are catching the archs
would rolling them back improve clearence or is there anything else that can be done.
I think StickerPaul has got 8x18 et33 on his saph 2wd and I don't think he has issues with catching the arches in front. Been thinking of this offset myself but don't want to modify the arches...
I have never had a problem my rl7s are et33 and dont stick out that far yours look like 25 or possible 15 as they are sticking out as much as an escos wheel. Look phat as you say but when i first saw your posted pictures i thought you would have issues.

i used the proper rolling tool at firs wich is a load of shite, now having all the arches hand beaten ,a lot of work but looks so much beter than the wheels lost in the arches
dont think those are et15.here what they sat like on my series one.could you imagine if they were ecosse fitment.they would be a mile out past the arch at 8x17.they were just clipping my coilovers on the inside which i would guess means et33 as they sat that bit in from the standard et35.just my two pence worth.this is mines with discs on the back which took them out even further.
ET15 will stick out from a Sapp arch by about an inch - i have just tried some on mine and they were level with the kit and thats on a 3dr.
I think they are really wide wheels in general

I have et32 (et35 and 3mm spacer), 8x17 and 225/35 tyres. Needed to beat some of the arch lip up, and they still catch on odd occasions.
Best to mod the arch slightly on the inside and will cost less than having wheels machined.

gaz mine were et25 when i bought then so i got 4mm machined so theorectically took them to et29 and only really catch when have a passenger or hit a big bump etc.
I would say if you got maybe 3-4mm took off they would be fine.
