Default Which torque wrench then?

Narrowed it down to these two:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TENG-TOOLS-389...3A1%7C294%3A50

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEALEY-3-8-DRI...3A1%7C294%3A50

More money i spend, the less i get to spend on the car. Info and opinions please guys.

Hi guys, i need a torque wrench for rebuilding my escort. I've already got a Laser 1/2" drive which torques 10-150 ft/lbs.

I need a smaller one for fuel banjo's etc, doesn't need to be that great top end but needs to be accurate down low. Around 5 ft/lbs since they need 8 ft/lbs.

I've got the same wrench and it's quality ...

EDIT: Only Torque's Clock-wise ..

Fixed head version has a push through square for left and right handed torque tightening.
That's confused me after your comment.

I like the Teng one as it does degrees too...

Fixed head with push through Drive is either Non Rachet or One way ratchet so you push the drive through to reverse it.

The Norbar one pictured is a One way Torque with reversable ratchet.

Up to you Dude ..

Buy the Tengtool. It is the best you can buy with that money. I have 3 tengtool torque wrenches and they are very good! Plus you get a sort of angle measuring and because it is a ratchet you can check torque clockwise or counter clockwise. They are very accurate too, what the test paper included says it is true!!!

oh aye yer, i'd need a mortgage for the snap on one.

I went for the teng afterall.

Figured it'd be handy with the angle feature too. Didn't know torque could be set in anit clockwise too. Will be useful for driver's side anti roll bar nut which is opposite thread.

Thanks guys.

Yes they need to be backed off to the lowest torque setting not fully, this way you keep the spring in good condition and in fact all torquewrenches needed to do that to keep them accurate. An old very expensive facom that I have (600euro) is saying that with capital bold letters!
