What a pointless article IMHO

The golf steering apparently goes so wobbly over 160 that you can only drive it in a straight line, and it has a top speed of just 180mph, how the hell is that "beating" a veryon which can do 250mph with ease and is totally driveable at any speed?

Im not saying it doesnt really do that quarter mile time mate, but just that given the main claim to fame the bugati has is its 250mph top speed and this drag car does a 180mph top speed, I dont really see how its faster.

Its meerly an article showing what can be home built and something that is as fast up the strip as a supercar.
No different to you racing a Lambo up the strip in the Nova and having a little story in the paper to highlight this. Gets some coverage too of the scene and also coverage for companies that have supported the car.
